Recently, I was in a dark place emotionally. I was having a down day which turned into a down week and proceeded to turn into a down two weeks. I knew if I didn’t put a stop to it, it could easily turn into a down three weeks. I realized that I deserved better and that laying around accepting that I was in a down mood wasn’t helping anyone which is why I decided to do something about it.
There are a number of reasons why we feel down but first we must find out why we are feeling the way we do. It is our own responsibility to find out what’s bothering us in order to move forward. Address the emotion that surrounds the situation and move on. Don’t allow your feelings to linger in your life eating you up.
Below I share with you some tips that I’ve found to be helpful and healing when I’m trying to pick myself up from an emotional hardship.
